Sandi Spivey w/Angel June Designs

Sandi Spivey is the founder of Angel June Designs and is a self taught artist and polymer clay jewelry designer. While all mediums are welcome, Sandi fell in love working with Polymer clay because of its versatility and connection to all of the arts. Once you are introduced to polymer clay, it's amazing to learn the different effects and applications. Polymer Clay can use methods and tools from cake decorating, nail care and art, ceramic clay, watercolor, acrylic paint, metal art, and many more." There are many lessons in working with clay and sometimes it doesn't work out how you plan. You'll need to learn resilience and problem solving to see your product to finish."

Sandi creates to help process grief recovery. She is dedicated to her craft and found that clay work is helping to heal her broken heart after the loss of her daughter, Angel June Spivey.

Dating back to 1885, the building originally operated as a planing mill, later expanding to include a machine shop and blacksmith shop. In 1939, it transitioned into a fully functioning pecan processing facility. Decades later in 2017, the space was re-imagined as a vibrant art studio and creative venue—designed to spark inspiration and bring people together. Today, it offers a welcoming environment where artists and makers can teach, mentor, and share their craft, while visitors have the chance to learn new skills, reconnect with old friends, or make new ones.
