Creating a Witch’s Hat Luminary–2-Day Hand-Build Pottery Workshop (09/21 & 10/06, 6–8 PM CST)

Create a whimsical Witch’s Hat Luminary in this two-session hand-building pottery workshop! Learn to build your piece during the first class, then return Tuesday, October 6th to glaze it. No experience necessary. All materials and kiln firings are included.

Celebrate the Halloween season with a creative pottery experience! In this two-day hand-building workshop, you’ll design and create your own Witch’s Hat Luminary—a festive ceramic decoration that casts a warm glow when illuminated with an LED tea light.

During the first session, you’ll learn hand-building techniques to shape and assemble your luminary. Your piece will then be dried and bisque-fired.

During the second session, you’ll glaze and decorate your creation, adding your own unique style before it’s glaze-fired and prepared for pickup.

This workshop is beginner-friendly and perfect for anyone looking to create a handmade seasonal keepsake.

Workshop Schedule

• Monday, September 21: 6:00–8:00 PM CST
• Tuesday, October 6: 6:00–8:00 PM CST

Skill Level
Beginner-friendly. Ages 14+ (or younger (10+) with a participating adult).

Important Information

• Attendance at both sessions is required to complete your project.
• Finished pieces will be available for pickup after the final glaze firing. You will be notified when your pottery is ready.
• Space is limited. Advance registration is required.
